How a two and a half year old toddler survived three days in the woods, is beyond me. Kevin Brown disappeared on September 21st while playing outside of his home. He had been playing with his four year old brother outside while his parents listened through open windows and doors. It wasn’t until Kevin’s brother ran into the house crying and after his parent’s tended to a fire ant bite, that they noticed him missing. I can’t imagine what they must have felt, wondering where their precious little boy was or how he was dealing with the situation. Was he hungry? Had someone taken him or hurt him? Our hearts went out to them as they waited for police and rescuers to find their son. The ending to this story turns out well as little Kevin was found with just a few scratches, bug bites, sunburn and dehydration.
