Did you know that French scientists have concluded that babies exposed in utero to pesticides double their chances of developing acute leukemia? Obviously, this study shows us that children must have as little exposure to pesticides as possible. An easy way to reduce your child’s risk is to serve organic fruits and vegetables to your family.
Bell peppers, grapes, celery, cherries, imported grapes, nectarines, peaches, potatoes, pears, raspberries, strawberries and spinach have the most pesticide residue of the fruits and vegetables found in your grocery store. The least contaminated are asparagus, avocados, bananas, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet corn, kiwi, mango, onion, papaya, pineapples and peas.
