Make Edible Play Dough
Our best play dough recipe is one that includes peanut butter. Enjoy making this with your children. It’s great on a rainy day or any time the kids are stuck inside. The only problem with edible play dough is that your child may think that all play dough is edible. You may want to point that out to your child.
Peanut Butter Play Dough Recipe
Use equal parts of peanut butter, honey and powdered milk. Simple and easy. When wanting different colors, you can use a different recipe that includes Kool Aid to make play dough. Here is that recipe.
Kool Aid Play Dough Recipe
3 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Salt
3 Pkgs. Unsweetened Kool Aid
3 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
2 Cups Water
Store extra in a zip lock bag or air tight container. It seems to me that the packages are unsweetened (or at least the ones I use) and would think the taste isn’t all that great for kids, but the smell… yum. A great plus is that Kool Aid comes in different flavors or should I say different colors.
Note: Kids prefer the peanut butter recipe over the Kool Aid one. They say it tastes better.
